Duet Małomiejsca tworzą Piotr Michalski i Marcin Karnowski. Na codzień muzycy 3moonboys Alameda5 Variete, Ala Kryształ. Projekt powstał z potrzeby wspólnego grania w czasie pierwszej fali pandemii, kiedy nie działały żadne formy życia muzycznego. Obaj wychowani na new romantic, cold wave i punku, pierwszy raz bez obciążeń swoich dużych, poważnych zespołów postanowili oddać się muzycznej rozpuście i zagrać tak jak nikt się po nich nie spodziewał. Około etniczne motywy rytmiczne, pulsujący, dubowy bass oraz klawiszowe melodie rodem z dyskotek z lat 80 to główne inspiracje jakimi kierowali się muzycy duetu przy komponowaniu swojego debiutu. Nagrań dokonano w studio Madżonga Records . Za mastering odpowiada Szymon Szwarc.

‘happy pills’ to me is about transition, about change. each song poses as a different part to a full story; ranging from relationship breakdown, to the pressures to be happy, to self love. each song is a journey, and each completely different from the last. with two bonus tracks, exclusive to the physical release, ‘happy pills’ is an EP centred around self discovery and finding your own ‘happy pills’ within yourself. The EP opens with a sense of longing, and neediness, but closes self assured and certain of my ability to be independent and confident.
